Shangri-La — plateau nomadic life under snow mountains

Shangri-la is administratively part of Yunnan but culturally and geographically a region of its own. We work with Jianglu Saiduo Nomadic and Jianglu Wunongding (at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain) on plateau-slow-travel themed routes — snow mountains, alpine pastures, mountain lodges, Tibetan home cooking. The Dec–Mar 'Sun-on-Gold' view of Meili is the climactic scene.
