A CLEAR FIRST JOURNEY · HUMAN-LED

Your first trip to China should feel clear, not compressed.

Ten, fourteen or twenty-one days can each work beautifully. The difference is not how many pins fit on a map, but how deeply you want to arrive.

01

THE FIRST DECISION

Choose a rhythm before you choose a route.

China rewards focus. Two well-chosen bases can reveal more than five rushed cities. We begin with your arrival point, sleep, food, mobility, children and appetite for long transfers—then design the geography.

A real WR advisor stays responsible from this first conversation through your return. AI helps us organise and coordinate faster; listening and judgement remain human.

10 / 14 / 21 DAYS

How much China fits without rushing?

10

days

One clear chapter

Best for two bases: one gateway city and one landscape or cultural region.

  • 2 principal bases
  • 1 domestic flight or rail move
  • Good for a focused first taste
21

days

A journey with depth

Time for four to six bases, slower stays and a second geographic chapter.

  • 4–6 principal bases
  • Two distinct regions can work
  • More room for weather and spontaneity

These are pacing principles, not fixed packages. Your advisor will adjust for arrival airports, altitude, family needs and seasonal access.

FIRST-TRIP QUESTIONS

Useful answers before we talk.

Is 10 days enough for a first trip to China?

Yes, if the route stays focused. We normally recommend one gateway city and one contrasting region rather than several distant highlights.

What is the best first China itinerary?

There is no universal route. Fourteen days through Chengdu, Dali and Lijiang is a balanced starting point for travellers drawn to food, landscape and boutique stays; history-first or family briefs may need a different shape.

Can WR help with practical setup?

Yes. Once we understand your party and route, your advisor can flag the relevant entry checks, payment setup, rail booking and connectivity preparation. Final entry decisions always rest with the relevant authorities.

BEGIN WITH YOUR TIME

A rough month, trip length and the people travelling with you are enough. We will help turn them into a coherent first journey.
